Am Nicolaiplatz in Wernigerode

Price-performance in order. Food was good. BUT ..... the menu on the website doesn’t match what’s really there. Too bad.

Great starter .... Great pasta plate .... Nice service .... You could only do something about the ambience. But the food is highly recommended 👍😊

After it is very difficult to get a table for dinner in Wernigerode, we ended up in the restaurant "Am Nicolaiplatz". We were welcomed in a very friendly way in a restaurant whose interior no longer corresponds to the style of today. Our food, which was served almost too quickly, was down to earth, tasty but nothing special.

Very nice staff, fast and delicious food, what more could you want !? We'd love to come back!

Sunny place in the middle of the old town with good food and friendly service. Recommended from my point of view, even if, as everywhere, there can be improvement. This is especially true when it comes to speed, but you can be more generous on vacation.

Good food, but above all, really great service. The ladies take care and are always open to fun :) we would love to come back.

PLEASE WAIT, YOU WILL BE PLACED, reads on a display. For the service staff, this means that if you wait long enough, the work will go away on its own. The term "service" is apparently completely unknown to the two ladies. Listless and not a word too much. And apart from the mandatory data collection, no cleaning or disinfection of the tables. So it doesn't work at all. Too bad for the operator!

We were in the restaurant in the evening. Incredibly unfriendly service. Responded very dismissively to every request. The behavior towards the other guests, which one was forced to notice, was shocking. Reactions to criticism were downright aggressive. The same staff has been rummaging around describing other reviews that have been unmistakable, apparently for months. So nothing has changed for quite some time. You cannot rate the food due to the bad atmosphere. What for? Apparently you shouldn't stop here.

The food was very tasty, but the staff is so rude that it takes time in this restaurant. During our stay, a whole family left because of the unfriendliness and other guests came out and said that the staff was gossiping about the guests

In the beautiful Wernigerode, centrally located at Nicolai Platz. A good selection of food, nice staff, quick service, quite reasonable prices. If you want to eat well and relaxed, this is the place for you. Highly recommended .

Quiet place to eat good value for money. Operation is not really customer friendly, which is a shame otherwise we would go there more often.

Very good restaurant with extremely nice staff. The food is very rich and delicious. My recommendation is the sauerbraten with dumplings and red cabbage. The prices are reasonable. We had a very nice room in the pension. Everything was very clean. There is a parking lot behind the house. The location is right in the old town but still quiet. All in all great.

In advance as an improvement to the ONE service, please be kinder to YOUR clientele (tone of voice). So: I came here for dinner and was quickly received by another service. 5 minutes later the drink at the table 10 later the main meal on the table despite The Baked Schnitzel with potato wedges was so hot that I spent the next 5 minutes to cool the food ... which is very positive ... beyond that and that's why I report, the court was a poem ... something of yummy I'll come over several times.BTW. WCs available.

We were here on December 27th, not overcrowded, everything was calm and relaxed. We liked the food (duck breast), we would definitely come back
